Centre-half Mark was snapped up from Fleetwood on a two-year deal shortly after the close of the 2014/15 campaign. The Cod Army had signed the now 32-year old from Stevenage during the summer of 2013 and he progressed to make 72 appearances at the Highbury Stadium, winning a League Two Play-off Winners medal the following year.

Mark had previously spent five years at Borough, helping them clinch promotion from the Conference Premier in 2010, then again from League Two twelve months later. His footballing journey started with Crewe, who offered him a first professional contract, before Mark switched to hometown club Northwich Victoria in 2007.

He moved on to Accrington shortly after, but returned to the Vics ten months later. Mark transferred to Stevenage in 2008, with the fans favourite playing over 200 matches for the Hertfordshire club. A well respected professional, he took caretaker charge of the Borough first team on two occasions and was also named in the Conference and League Two Team of Year in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
