Bedford-born Greg started out with Northampton Town before moving to Kettering in 2009. Some commanding performances prompted Darlington to sign him up but, during November 2011 and with the Quakers in financial strife, Luton swooped for his services.
Never needing a prompt to get forward, he made 38 appearances for Town, scoring once but, following two temporary spells with Tamworth, finished the 2012/13 season with Conference Champions Mansfield. 26-year old Greg signed a two-year deal with United following his release from the Hatters and, after cementing the left full-back spot as his own, penned an extension to that contract which has secured his services until June 2017.
A calm and collective presence within the back line, he impressed all during the U’s FA Trophy, Football League promotion double of 2013/14, playing 60 games throughout the campaign. Greg, who can also operate at right-back and has now surpassed 125 appearances for the club, missed the final four months of last season due to an ankle injury.
