Northampton Town 3 v 2 Cambridge United
Two first period goals from Emily Arnold and Georgina Evans could not prevent United narrowly losing to Northampton. United took the lead twice but were pegged back each time and unluckily conceded the winning goal.

Northampton Town 4 v 2 Cambridge United
United went into the match under stealth and with no recognized goalkeeper. United were under the Coche for the majority of the game but scored with two break away goals by Laura Mills. Two goal line clearances by Harriet Morse and fantastic saves from debutant Johanna Naismith in goal kept the score down. Northampton deserved to win but United kept fighting.

Northampton Town 0 v 1 Cambridge United
Cambridge had to wait until 10 mins from time before sealing victory with a close range winner from captain Chelsea Prouten in a game they had dominated from the kick off. But for an excellent performance from the Northampton Town goalkeeper and central defenders Cambridge would have run out winners by a much greater margin. In the first period Kelly Blanchflower, Vanesha Hempstead, Katie Taylor, Sophie Wing and Charis Johnstone all went close only being thwarted by last ditch tackles and saves from a goalkeeper who was always in the right place.
The second period was more of the same as Sophie Wing hit the post and crossbar and Leigh Anne Robe fired at the keeper after rounding several Northampton Town opponents and breaking clear.
The Cambridge defence also performed well with Leanne Staddon and Megan Pluck standing out.
Cambridge nerves were finally settled with Chelse Prouten's late winner

Northampton Town 2 v 3 Cambridge United
The game started in the best possible way as United took the lead early in the match with Ali Wright finishing off a great move. United continued to press and should have added to their lead as several chances were squandered.
The second half began in the same manner and the U's were rewarded with a second goal with the prolific Ali Wright adding to her tally. Cambridge seemed to be cruising to their first victory of the season but a lack of concentration and a great strike, brought Northampton level with 10 mins remaining of the match. The young U's reacted superbly and regained the lead within minutes as the threatening Ali Wright completed her hat trick. Some great defending saw out the half and the girls were able to record their first victory of the season.
Player of the Match: Sarah Cornwell
