Cambridge United are launching a revolutionary £49 'Taster Ticket' for supporters, entitling them to attend four home league games during the 2009/10 season.

Almost 20,000 came along to cheer on the U's in the Blue Square Play-off Final on 18th May at Wembley, and this is the first of a series of initiatives aimed at welcoming back some of the floating fans during the 2009/10 season.

"This offer is designed primarily to attract back some of those who were supporting the U's for the first time at Wembley either in May 2008 or 2009," explained PR & Marketing Executive Will Jones. "It is also targeted towards our regular supporters who, for one reason or another, can't attend enough home games in a season to warrant buying a full season ticket."

Will went on, "Cambridge United, and Chairman George Rolls in particular, are keen and committed to make the Club an attractive and affordable option to new and existing fans. In addition to the tremendous discounts which were on offer for full season tickets, we feel this terrific 'Taster Ticket' will do just that."

The offer fits into a major marketing campaign to be launched during the summer with the slogan "Cambridge United: Your City - Your Club" as we look to further align ourselves with our local community.

In order to buy a 'Taster Ticket' supporters need to complete an application form which can be downloaded here or are available for collection from the Ticket Office at the stadium. Forms will also be dispatched shortly via e-mail to those who went to Wembley either this year or last. Return the completed form to the Ticket Office or e-mail to info@cambridge-united.co.uk.

The ticket, valid for either the Main Stand, Habbin or North Terrace, will enable the holder to attend a total of four home league matches during the season, subject to availability. Seating will be allocated on a game-by-game basis.

There are no concessions prices available for the 'Taster Ticket', but anyone buying one will be eligible to buy up to THREE Under 10 full season tickets for just £10 each.

A maximum of two 'Taster Tickets' can be bought by any one person and the deadline for applications is Tuesday 1st September. Tickets can be exchanged on the turnstiles on the day of a game, subject to availability. For all-ticket or high priority matches, holders will need to exchange their voucher for a ticket in advance in accordance with the ticketing policy for the match.
