A central defender who joined United as a first year scholar in the summer of 2008 after leaving Norwich City.
A commanding presence at 6ft 5ins, Gorleston-born Blaine has become a fixture in the heart of the CRC/youth team defence and captained the team in the FA Youth Cup as a first year. He also weighed in with some important goals from set pieces and impressed new manager Martin Ling suffiently in pre-season to earn a first team squad number at the start of the season.
