Bassingbourn-based Luke Berry has been with Jez George (previously at Cambridge City) since he was 11 years old, and resisted overtures from several much bigger clubs to accept our offer of a scholarship.

Luke has been a central presence in midfield for the scholars, showing maturity and ability beyond his years to become a key and consistent performer, and impressed new manager Martin Ling sufficiently in pre-season to earn a first team squad number at the start of the season.
