Left-back Darryl is from Bury St Edmunds and joined our youth scheme at the age of 16 from Ipswich Town.  After successfully completing a two-year scholarship, this season he is a first year pro.

A hard-working player with a good attitude and a great left foot, Darryl's first team opportunity came sooner than expected when a pre-season injury to Anthony Tonkin saw Darryl play in most of the friendlies and he made his senior debut on the opening day of the season, going on to play in the next three games before Tonkin returned.
