Gravesend-born 'JJ' is a bustling striker who has come through the youth ranks at West Ham to become a regular in their reserve side. In December 2007 he had a loan spell at Hampton & Richmond in the Blue Square South to gain first team experience and he scored two goals before returning to West Ham, then joined Cambridge United on loan in late February.
Described by Jimmy Quinn as a hard-working player who reminds him of former Hammers, Everton and England striker Tony Cottee, Jack has yet to feature for the first team at West Ham and his loan with Cambridge United will give him further first team experience while adding another option to the U's squad.
After four substitute appearances, his initial one month loan was extended by a further month in March.
