Laurie Walker signed non-contract terms at the start of the season after being released by Millwall and spending pre-season with Cambridge United.
He started three pre-season games and also came on twice as a hard-running emergency striker late in games when an injury occurred. Indeed, the 19-year-old's tall presence contributed directly to the equalising goal against a West Ham XI.
The highly-rated young keeper started out with MK Dons before joining League One side Millwall on a free transfer last summer, where he featured for their reserves and also had a month on loan at Ryman Premier outfit Harrow Borough, before being released at the end of the season.
