A second year pro, former Ipswich Town schoolboy Jordan joined Cambridge City when he was released by the Suffolk side and was one of the boys to transfer to United along with most of City's Youth Development set-up in the summer of 2006.
Left-footed and a good passer of the ball, Jordan broke into the first team after sterling performances for the CRC (Ridgeons League) and youth (FA Youth Cup) teams and has played mainly at left-back, although he can also play in midfield.
Like the other scholars competing as CRC in the Ridgeons League Premier Division, he learned fast from playing men's football and made his first team debut on Boxing Day in the match against Rushden & Diamonds.
Jordan was one of three scholars to earn a pro deal at the end of the 2006-07 season and although he only managed one sub appearance last season, he signed a new deal for this season and is expected to push for a first team place this season.
