A pacy forward who came through the youth system at Wolves in the same era as Shane Tudor, Jermaine was released by Wolves and joined Hartlepool on a free transfer in March 2001.
Although he was prolific for them at reserve level he struggled to break through in Division Two and spent the last three months of the 2003-04 season on loan with the U's following Tudor's recommendation.
A fixture in the side for most of those games, Easter clearly figures in the plans of new boss Herve Renard as he completed a free transfer move to the Abbey Stadium and signed a one year contract at the end of the season.
