Abbey Stadium Plans Unveiled

Posted on: Wed 17 Nov 2004

Monday's preview of the plans for the proposed redevelopment of the north and east sides of the Abbey Stadium was well-attended and supporters and neighbours are reminded that all are welcome to the exhibition at the ground this evening.

Chairman Gary Harwood, director John Howard and CEO Peter Salvage were in attendance on Monday night to answer questions and discuss the plans for the £5.5 million project, along with Neil Waterson from property consultants FPDSavills.

Many season ticket holders, shareholders and Vice-Presidents called into the Harris Suite during the evening and many more visitors are expected at the exhibition today between 3.30pm and 9pm. The event takes place in the Harris Suite under the Main Stand, and is being organised by FPDSavills and Cambridge United Football Club in association with architects CAD Associates and Cambridge City Council.
