Physio Greg Reid gives an update from the treatment room.
Greg has taken over responsibility for all physiotherapy requirements at the club since Ant Coole left to join Bath Rugby Club, and in his first update for cambridgeunited.com he reported that striker Amadou Konte has returned to training following his ankle injury.
However several players are still under treatment:
Adam Tann missed Saturday's match after being kicked on the knee in training on Thursday and he is currently under treatment to his superior tibio-fibular joint.
Abdou El Kholti spent last week at Lilleshall for treatment to the same joint. He has returned to the club this week and Greg is hopeful that the left-back can return to full training within the next two weeks.
Darren Quinton pulled a hamstring tendon in a challenge near the end of the win against Rushden & Diamonds and missed the match at Notts County, but he is running and should be back in full training by the end of this week.
Defender Igor Latte-Yedo is at Lilleshall this week for intensive treatment on the tendonitis in his right ankle that has kept him sidelined for the last month, and has restricted the Frenchman to just six appearances this season since signing for United in July.
Greg continues to be responsible for the youth team players and he is currently treating striker Paul Atkins following an operation for shin splints. He is in post-surgical rehab for fascial release in both shins, while youngster Callum Kearns is still in plaster following a broken leg, but he is expected to be out of plaster next week.
Long-term absentee Franco Nacca has made good progress with the ankle injury suffered at Northampton last December when a horrendous challenge by Paul Reid saw the 22-year-old stretchered off and his season at an end.

He had recently returned to training after two operations and a long battle back to fitness, but is suffering from tonsillitis and will miss a few days' training.
