Kevin Roberts has joined fellow defenders Josh Coulson and James Jennings in extending his Cambridge United contract until 2014, while youngster Blaine Hudson has signed his first professional contract.
Roberts, 22, has become a firm fans' favourite this season, making the right-back position his own.
The former Chester City player, who arrived at the R Costings Abbey Stadium in the summer of 2010, revealed his pleasure after committing his future to the club.
"I'm delighted to have signed an extended two-year deal," he said. "The way the club is going at the moment matches my ambitions in moving forward."

Despite being a relative veteran in the United dressing room, Roberts is looking firmly to the future. He added: "So far Jez and the management have been great with my development and I'll keep working hard to get better.
"Hopefully I'll carry on improving, as will the club, working towards getting back where it belongs in the Football League.
"The fans' support this season has been amazing, and hopefully they will carry on the way they have been to help us finish this season off on a high."
Manager Jez George was just as happy to retain the services of a player who has become a mainstay in his starting line-up.
"Robbo epitomises the philosophy we want to create at the club," Jez stated.
"He gives his maximum in everything he does, always wants to improve and is a fantastic character to have in the squad.
"Robbo has been unbelievably consistent in the last 12 months. He is developing as a player all the time, especially going forward, and we think there is still more to come from him in the future.
"He will pay an integral part in continuing to move the club forward and we're absolutely delighted that he's committed for the next two years."
Hudson is the latest member of United's unique youth system to break into the first team and earn a professional contract, which will also run until 2014, having won rave reviews after being asked to step into the centre of the U's defence.
"I'm grateful for Jez and Nolan (Keeley) for giving me the opportunity to play and become a more regular part of the first team," the youngster enthused.

"The club has been good to me since I've been here, so I'm really happy to sign for the next two years."
Hudson recovered from injuries sustained in a motor accident last season to push for a first-team place, and he understands the challenge ahead of him.
"I need to stay fit and compete for a regular place in the first team, and ensure that when I get the opportunity I keep my spot in the starting 11," he said.
Jez was enthusiastic about the centre-back's future prospects. He said: "Blaine is a young player that could have a big future.
"In the few games he has played he has already demonstrated his ability, and it's important to the club that we've secured his services on a professional contract.
"The challenge for Blaine is to maintain the standards he has set and to do the right things on and off the pitch to give him the best chance of fulfilling his potential."
