Proceed along the A5 past Shrewsbury and Oswestry and join the A483 (the Wrexham by-pass) towards Wrexham. Leave the A483 at the junction with the A541 (Mold Road), heading towards the town centre, and you should find the ground around 300 metres further along the A541.
Parking: There is some street parking to be had, otherwise, there are a handful of private car parks in the vicinity.
Train: Wrexham General Station (not to be confused with Wrexham Central) is almost directly next to the ground. Exit the station, head up to the main road and turn right. You will be able to see the ground almost before you've been able to gather your thoughts.

Hospitality: A message from Wrexham: Wrexham FC would like to invite Cambridge United fans to join them in The Bamford Suite for the first game of the Blue Square Premier 2010/2011 season. A superb one course pre-match meal including match day ticket for The Executive Box and programme for only £35 (including VAT) per person. The Bamford Suite is situated on the Yale side of the ground. Present and former Wrexham FC players will be hanging around there for your entertainment which is an opportunity for photographs, autographs and questions. A match day programme and team sheet is included in the price, complimentary tea or coffee at half time, with a cash bar available for other refreshments. The match day ticket will be for the executive seats, giving an unrivalled view of the game. For further details please contact Hanna Clarke on 01978 262 129 or email h.clarke@theracecoursewrexham.co.uk. Limited spaces available so be quick and don't miss out.
Pre-match refreshment: The Turf public house is directly next to the ground, but will probably get fairly busy before the match. Otherwise, head past the station into the town centre where there are a few other places to sit and drink. There are also shops here, for shopping, browsing and shoplifting.
Local attractions: Science fans might like to head out of town towards Techniquest (past the ground and follow the signs - it's not far at all) where you can play on hands-on science-y stuff. I went to one in Cardiff many a long year ago. I have relatives in Cardiff, you see. Plus, my dad is a science teacher, so I was dragged along to all sorts in my youth, before I discovered wine, women and song. But if you are trying to convince your wife/husband/partner that going to North Wales is an excellent way to spend part of the summer holiday, Techniquest could come into the bargaining, it's a pretty good occupier for young ones.
Chat up lines in…Wrexham: Remember 1991? East Side Beat, Salt-n-Pepa, Altern8 and all that. Those were the days. But the song which all the bright young things were pumping out of their tape players was K-Klass's Rhythm is a Mystery. And would you believes it, K-Klass, the house four-piece, were from Wrexham. So, to the chat up line, you might want to get a pen and paper ready. Picture the scene; you're dancing to the latest chart smash (we're in 2010 again now, by the way) and a local lovely approaches. You introduce yourself; tell him/her you've just been watching the football. He/she doesn't really like football, so now you strike. You say: "Hey, I've been watching you dancing over there and you were looking K-Klass, rhythm certainly isn't a mystery to you." They are certain to be impressed by your local knowledge and your way with words. Try it, and thank me later.
