Jez George updates on day 19 of his 19-day, 410 mile Walk for Change.

Today went from the sublime to the ridiculous. I strolled the eight miles to the Emirates arriving at the impressive venue just after 12.45pm. Anyone who knows me will be amazed that I was almost an hour early for my arranged meet time with Jim Rosenthal. We then met Bob Wilson who I grew up watching host football focus and as myself being a goalkeeper of some description also knew he was between the sticks for Arsenal in their 1971 double winning team.

The hour we spent with Bob and Jim was surreal. I can't speak highly enough for both men and it was an experience I will never forget (neither will Pelly who was converted from driver to photographer). The photos will probably speak a thousand words, but in summary, we spent time in the home dressing room, saw the billiard table pitch first hand, visited the Diamond Club and met David Seaman, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Song, Danny Murphy, Roy Hodgson and Arsene Wenger. Not the worst list you would ever compile!

Danny remembered me from our initial meeting the day before the Walk started (which seems months rather than weeks ago), whilst Roy Hodgson was keen to find out more about the campaign. In addition we spoke with Ivan Gazidis, the Chief Executive Officer of Arsenal, who expressed Arsenal's full support for our campaign. If things were not good enough already, we were then invited by boxing promoter Frank Warren to join him in his executive box where we were also joined by Olympic Gold Medallist middle weight boxer James DeGale. The football is almost incidental but for the record Arsenal won 4-0.

Weeks ago when I set out on this trip I daren't even think about the Emirates and Wembley, and whilst it seems like ages ago that I started this journey, it has also gone very quickly.

This afternoon was made really special by Jim and Bob and I go to bed tonight not just with great memories of the day but thoughts of completing the journey tomorrow under the arch at Wembley and returning for the 'All-Star' game tomorrow evening.
