Scott Neilson Loan Extended

Posted on: Sat 27 Mar 2010

Bradford City have agreed to extend the loan of winger Scott Neilson until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old right winger signed for Bradford in August 2009 for an undisclosed fee from our neighbours Cambridge City, having scored 13 goals in the 2008/9 season to help the Lilywhites to a fourth place finish.

Since joining the U's at the beginning of March Scott has scored three goals and Martin Ling told cambridgeunited.com, "We're delighted to have him for rest of season, he's been a major factor in our turnaround of form. We need him to continue in the same vein and help us finish the season in style.

"He'll go back to Bradford for the last two weeks of their season and we'll asses the situation in the summer."
