Come and Watch the Scholars Tonight!

Posted on: Wed 10 Mar 2010

Cambridge United's scholars are at home at The Abbey Stadium tonight and they host FA Vase Semi-Finalists Wroxham.

With Needham Market not in action, CRC could extend their lead at the top of the Ridgeons League to ten points with a win, but Jez George's side face a stern test. Despite sitting tenth in the league Wroxham have an amazing seven games in hand on the scholars, and nine in hand on several other clubs currently above them.

Wroxham also knocked CRC's conquerers Needham Market out of the FA Vase recently and are only a two-legged Semi away from an appearance at Wembley.

After their 3-1 win at Norwich United at the weekend, CRC are unbeaten in twenty-six league games and future first teamers Adam Marriott, Blaine Hudson, Luke Berry and Daryl Coakley are all in line for selection.

Kick off is 7.45pm at The Abbey and admission is £5 for adults, £2 concessions and £2 for season ticket holders.
