Bradford City winger Scott Neilson has joined Cambridge United on emergency loan for one month following the news Robbie Willmott will miss the rest of the campaign with a knee injury.

The 22-year-old right winger signed for Bradford in August 2009 for an undisclosed fee from our neighbours Cambridge City, having scored 13 goals in the 2008/9 season to help the Lilywhites to a fourth place finish.

U's boss Martin Ling told cambridgeunited.com, "Scott is quick ball carrier and is just the type of player we need since the loss of Robbie Willmott.

"He's been playing League Two football with Bradford this season and due to the change in manager has become available."

Scott has been allocated squad number 18 and will be available for selection for the U's trip to Barrow on Saturday.
