Ben Farrell is joining Grays Athletic on loan for a month, up to and including Saturday 13th February.

Ben joined United from Bedford Town in January 2008. He has made 28 league appearances since then, scoring three goals, but has not featured for the U's this campaign.

Manager Martin Ling told the website "Ben doesn't really figure in my future plans for the Club.

"I see him behind Paul Carden, Sam Ives, Jai Reason and even Rory McAuley in the pecking order, any move had to be at the right level and this is a good opportunity for him to get some minutes under his belt and showcase himself."
