Chester Extend Beesley Loan

Posted on: Mon 09 Nov 2009

Mark Beesley's loan at Chester City has been extended by a further month.

The striker's loan now expires on 5th December but he is not permitted to play against Cambridge United on 1st December.

Reunited with former manager Jim Harvey, for whom he played at previous club Forest Green, Beesley has started five times for Chester and scored the only goal in their win at Gateshead last month.

He joined Chester from Preston in 2000 and spent four years there before joining Forest Green, via Southport and Hereford, in 2004, then signing for United in January 2008.
