Courtney Pitt made his first appearance for a month when he came off the bench in the win against Wrexham, and it was revealed afterwards that he has been removed from the transfer list and will feature a lot more in future.

Ongoing discussions about his contract had seen the winger confined to the bench as an unused substitute since his last appearance against Crawley on 18th August, but he replaced Robbie Willmott with four minutes remaining today and afterwards Ling told cambridgeunited.com, "It's been sorted out.

"A situation had arisen with his contract, and I don't think it's fair to talk about his personal contract, but after having talks with me Courtney has been taken off the transfer list.

"He will now figure an awful lot more and that's certainly good news."
