Gleeson Doubtful for Cards Clash
Cambridge United return to action this evening after 13 days without a match, making the journey to Surrey to play Woking and aiming to extend the current unbeaten run to twelve games and keep the pressure on leaders Burton.
After four straight wins, United are currently second with 73 points from 39 games, while the Cards are third from bottom with 37 points from 38 games. The bookies clearly fancy our chances because the U's are odds-on favourites to win at 8/11 while Woking are 4/1 with our online betting partners bet365, and the draw is 13/5. Team News
Gary Brabin could be without regular right-back Dan Gleeson for tonight's game.
The 24-year-old has been unable to train since the Barrow game due to a thigh injury, so if he is unable to line-up tonight Brabin may call on first year pro Rory McAuley or midfielder Jon Challinor, who have both deputised on the right of defence earlier this season. Alternatively Josh Coulson or new loan signing Simon Ainge of Bradford City may come into the reckoning.
"Without any games for the last fortnight we were hoping all the knocks and niggles would clear up, but it's hard when you haven't trained for two weeks and Dan isn't right so he's looking very doubtful," confirmed Gary Brabin.
Apart from Gleeson and Mark Beesley, who is ruled out for the rest of the season, Brabin has a fit squad to select from and he added, "With Chris Holroyd and Scott Rendell in goalscoring form up front it's good for competition to have Lee Phillips and Danny Crow fit and raring to go on the bench too.

"We've had some good intense sessions and the lads have looked really sharp, and I think they're all itching to get going again. We had momentum with the run we were on, and in an ideal world we wouldn't have had this break and we could have kept on going, but the plusses are that we've rested the bodies a bit and hopefully we can get back on track tonight."
Woking have reduced their admission prices for tonight's game to £10 for adults and £2 for under-16s.
The Opposition
The Cards are third from bottom and two points from safety, and they took four points from their last two home games, which were a 1-0 win against Barrow and a 1-1 draw against Wrexham.
They include a host of former U's players, including defenders Abdou El Kholti and Danny Bunce, veteran midfielder Micah Hyde and striker Liam Marum, although Hyde is doubtful with an Achilles injury.
Brabin warned against underestimating Woking despite their lowly league position, and added, "It's always a tough place to go to in any season, but the fact that they're fighting for points and fighting for survival means we're expecting a really tough game and we need to be straight into it.
"The way the fixtures have been this season a lot of games have been juggled about and it's not ideal in terms of preparation, but some people are moaning about too many games in a short time while we feel like we've had little breaks when we've felt like we were building some momentum.
"We would have preferred to carry on, but you've got to get on with it and we're looking forward to it tonight. We're looking on the positive side of things and we can't wait to get back into playing games again."
