Convery Makes Goalscoring Comeback

Posted on: Wed 11 Mar 2009

Mark Convery marked his comeback from a three month layoff with a goal for CRC in their 4-0 win against Haverhill Rovers at the Trade Recruitment Stadium this evening (Wednesday).

In front of the watching Gary Brabin, Convery completed the full 90 minutes and scored the fourth goal, while the other goals were scored by Adam Marriott, Blaine Hudson and John Yambasu.

The scholars are in action at Norwich United on Saturday, and are at home again next Wednesday (18th) when Stanway Rovers are the visitors.

Elsewhere, Blue Square Premier leaders Burton Albion lost 2-1 at Ebbsfleet United this evening, which was one of their three games in hand.
