Hatswell: "Two Points Dropped"
Wayne Hatswell viewed it as "two points dropped" after Monday's 1-1 draw at neighbours Histon.
The 34-year-old put the U's ahead with a beautifully flighted 35-yard volley in the 74th minute, but admitted that the gloss was taken off his goal by Jack Midson's equaliser for ten minutes later.
"I caught it sweet and it was nice to see it go in, but I can't go mad because we haven't won," he said.
"I wanted to be standing here having scored the winning goal and I thought we did enough to win it, but we have to accept a point and get on with it."
It was Wayne's fourth goal of the season and his second against Histon, and he added, "I scored a decent goal against them on Boxing Day so they'll be sick of the sight of me soon, but to be fair we're sick of the sight of them too because they're not a bad side - they work hard and keep getting goals towards the end of the games.
"They just keep going and going and we knew they'd do that, and we're just disappointed that it's two points dropped for us."
United are in action again at home to runaway league leaders Burton Albion on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
