Gleeson Banned for Two Matches

Posted on: Tue 30 Dec 2008

Dan Gleeson will be suspended for two matches following his sending-off against Stevenage on Sunday,

The 23-year-old was dismissed for 'foul and abusive language' following the award of the stoppage time penalty to Stevenage when former team-mate David Bridges went over in the area to earn the decisive penalty for his new team.

It has now been confirmed by the F.A. that Gleeson will miss our next two games, which will be the FA Trophy match at home to Crawley on Saturday 10th January and the following fixture, which will be either the home league match against Woking on Saturday 17th or a replay at Crawley if required, which would take place on Tuesday 13th January.
