Speaking after Sunday's 1-1 draw at home to Stevenage Borough, U's defender Anthony Tonkin felt the referee was wrong to award a penalty to Stevenage's David Bridges in stoppage time.
The visitors equalised from the spot through Mitchell Cole to cancel out Scott Rendell's third minute strike, and afterwards left-back Tonkin admitted, "Like Friday, this feels like a defeat.
"A lot of the lads aren't happy with the penalty decision - the lad bustled into the box and tried his luck and conned the referee really, and that's hard to take."
Looking back on the last two games, when United led 2-0 at half-time against Histon and 1-0 at half-time against Stevenage but only took a point from each, Tonkin called for his side to be more ruthless.
"However well we have played for both of the first halves of the two games, that's four points we've dropped - we have to see these games out and finish off teams who come here. I thought today we were in full control in the first half and were comfortable in the second half, apart from the one free kick that Potts had to save.

"Apart from that I don't think they caused us too many problems, and that makes the penalty award all the more like a kick in the teeth. That kind of decision can be the one at the end of the season can be the difference in making and not making the play-offs," he stressed.
"We have to be more ruthless. There are two weeks for us to get things sorted out on the training pitch and to come back for the Crawley FA Trophy game refreshed, and with the instinct to give the fans what they want by winning games.
"The play-offs is the least this team should be achieving and we all know what we must do to gain that."
