Scott Stays: Rendell Loan Extended

Posted on: Sun 28 Dec 2008

Scott Rendell will stay on loan with Cambridge United to the end of the season.

The striker scored his seventh goal in today's 1-1 draw against Stevenage Borough, which was the final game of his initial loan spell.

But after amicable talks between United director George Rolls and Peterborough United's Director of Football Barry Fry, a deal was agreed to keep Rendell with the U's for the rest of the season, with no recall clause.

Happy New Year to all U's supporters!
