Danny Brown Leaves on Loan

Posted on: Fri 07 Nov 2008

Danny Brown has joined Eastbourne Borough on loan.

The midfielder was made available for transfer earlier this week and today he signed on loan for the newly-promoted side until January 1st, 2009.

Former U's skipper 'Browny' missed the first month of the season as he worked his way back to fitness following a summer operation on a shoulder injury. He made a surprise comeback in the 2-0 win against Wrexham and scored two weeks later in the 1-1 draw at Mansfield, but he has not played since the middle of October and has made just six appearances so far this season.

28-year-old Brown was Jimmy Quinn's first signing for the U's in November 2006, and he has previous played for Barnet, Oxford and Crawley.

Eastbourne Borough are currently 19th in the Blue Square Premier on 20 points.
