Cambridge United are recruiting their very own cheerleading squad. They will be known as the 'Amber Army All Stars' and members of the squad will be trained by qualified cheerleading and gymnastics coaches.

No experience is necessary and any supporters or members of our local community between the ages of 10-19 will be welcome to try out. There are only 30 places available so come along to the fun try-outs and show what you can do.

Try-outs are this Thursday, 16th October, at Coleridge Community College Gym from 5.45pm to 7.15pm. There is a nominal £3 fee for the try-out to cover the cost of the room hire.

If you are successful and receive a place in the 'Amber Army All-Stars' then you will train every Thursday as part of the squad and will work towards performing at first team matches and events representing the U's.

Squad members must commit to a 7-week training term taking place from 5.45pm to 7.15pm at Coleridge Community Gym every Thursday evening, starting on Thursday 6th November. The cost is £45.50 for the full term (£6.50 per week). Uniforms will also need to be purchased but there will be opportunities to help with fundraising to cover some of these costs.

There will also be a chance to meet U's boss Gary Brabin when he calls into one of the training sessions to check on progress.
