Farrell Appeal Rejected

Posted on: Thu 28 Aug 2008

Cambridge United's appeal against Ben Farrell's sending-off against Kettering has been rejected.

His case was reviewed by the FA Disciplinary Committee today and they upheld the referee's decision to dismiss the U's midfielder for 'violent conduct' but decided not to extend the suspension, as they have the right to do.

Ben's three-match suspension begins immediately, meaning he will miss the matches against Weymouth, Ebbsfleet and Wrexham.
