Cambridge United Football Club are delighted that the club's match day programme has won the Non-League Programme of the Year for 2007-8.

The award from 'Programme Monthly', which is the most prestigious in the football programme world, is welcome recognition of the high quality of Cambridge United's matchday magazine.

Fans Director Brian Attmore commented, "This award is testament to the good work of the Programme Editor, Mark Johnson, and his team of contributors and matchday sellers. They have every right to be proud of their efforts and the high standards achieved.

"I know that they will not rest on their laurels but are always looking at ways to improve it further.

"The programme plays an important role in the Club's communication," Attmore added.

"The programmes are supplied on a sale-or-return basis that guarantees the Club a profit from every copy sold, as well as receiving revenue from the advertising it contains. Special thanks go to everyone who supports it by buying a copy and reading it."
