Junior U's and parents are reminded that that match against Torquay United at the Abbey Stadium on 13th September has been designated a 'Junior SSI' fixture, and all current members of the Junior U's have been invited to attend the game free of charge in the flagship all-seater South Stand.

In addition, each member will also be eligible to bring along three friends (under 16) to accompany them to the match, introducing them to their local family football club free of charge.

Application forms are being dispatched in the post to all 1,500 Junior U's earlier this month. Forms also enable parents/adults to accompany Junior U's and their friends at the discounted rate of just £10, as well as providing the facility for existing Junior and Adult season ticket holders to request transfer into the South Stand for this match.

The club have already received hundreds of ticket application requests and all Junior U's and their parents are reminded that tickets for this scheme are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The deadline for applications is Wednesday September 10th.

Any members or parents who have not received their form by next week can call into the club ticket office where a supply is available, or e-mail Marvin the Moose on marvin@cambridge-united.co.uk and ask him to send an electronic version of the form by return e-mail.

All applications for tickets for this match should be made by post via the "Junior SSI" application form. Applications for tickets will not be processed over the telephone or in person at the club, and discounted admission only applies for pre-purchased accompanying adult tickets. As the South Stand is for home supporters for all but a few games this season, a limited number of tickets will be held back to accommodate any supporters wishing to pay on the day.

Organiser Will Jones enthused, "This is another very exciting leg of the South Stand Initiative, which is driven by CFU and a burning passion to introduce new supporters to Cambridge United.

"This is a slightly different format to the standard SSI matches. The Junior U's has been a staggering success since its launch in February 2007, with over 1,500 children signing up. It's important we recognise this and reward those children who have signed up to be United!"

Note: Junior U's can gain admission to the South Stand for just £2 for most games this season (the stand has been allocated to home fans for all but the most high profile games this season). Junior U's may also enter any area of the ground for just £2 if accompanied by one of the 'Junior U's Vouchers' found in all season tickets books.
