Jardim Move Hits "Stumbling Block"
Gary Brabin could lose out on winger Felino Jardim after talks between the player's agent and the club broke down.
22-year-old Jardim had done enough during his pre-season trial to be offered a deal with Cambridge United, but talks with the Dutchman's agent have failed to reach agreement so far.
Brabin revealed, "Me and Felino are happy with things. He loves it here and I want him to sign, but without going into too much detail there's a stumbling block between his agent and the board of directors and at the moment it's not happening."
Released by Sparta Rotterdam at the end of last season, the former Feyenoord and Holland Under-19 international is now reportedly on trial with Barnet, according to Dutch media reports.
Trialists Eddie Hutchinson and Domaine Rouse have returned to Oxford and Bury after their respective trials and Brabin will not take his interest in those players any further.
