Already voted as your Player of Year via this website, Danny Potter is one of five players included on the shortlist for the Blue Square Premier 'Player of the Month' for April.

Danny's nomination reads as follows:
'The Cambridge United keeper was a key component in his side's late surge into second place on the final day of the season. The U's finished second by just a single goal, after finishing level on points with Torquay. Potter kept four clean sheets during the period and was beaten only three times in over 500 minutes of league action. Jimmy Quinn's side have completed the regular season with the best defensive record with Potter between the sticks.'

The other shortlisted players are Russell Penn of Kidderminster Harriers, Oxford's Yemi Odubade, Shaun Harrad of play-off semi-final opponents Burton Albion, and Dean Moxey of Exeter City.
