Goals Will Come, Says Willmott
Robbie Willmott made his long-awaited first starting appearance in Saturday's win at Northwich after coming off the bench 14 times this season.
The youngster demonstrated his pace and close control to good effect but revealed afterwards that he was disappointed not to score in the 2-0 win.
"Personally I was really disappointed with my finishing today," revealed Robbie, who will turn 18 next month.
"I'm usually prolific in front of goal in training and I got myself into the right positions, but to be fair I should have finished at least one of them. I think I've just got to pace myself, take my time a bit more and take the shot and it will go in. I would have loved to have done it today though, because the support was fantastic.
"As for the team performance, despite the gaffer making the changes, there was never going to be any chance of us taking our foot of the gas. We wanted home advantage in the second leg but to get the second spot off Torquay was just what we deserved.
"I think it showed what a great squad we have - anyone who is called on can come in to do a job and that really showed. It's something that we can take into the play-offs and use to our advantage."
He concluded, "It doesn't matter who we are going to play after today, we've taken points from all the top sides so there is no fear from us, whoever we come up against."
