It's the business end of the season and here's your chance to share some of the limelight, with the chance to win a pair of CUFC season tickets and even a chance of winning a huge £100,000 prize!
The Keepie Uppie Competition from Blue Square gives supporters the chance to win those prizes and more, if they prove they're best at Keepie Uppie with the special square ball.
What do you have to do? You get three opportunities to do as many Keepie Uppies as possible with the special square ball at half-time of tomorrow's home game against Torquay United, which is your last chance to enter this fan-tastic nationwide competition.
If you get the highest score on Tuesday you'll win a free £25 bet with Blue Square.
But if your score is the highest at the Abbey Stadium this season you'll also win two FREE Season Tickets for Cambridge United next season, and you'll go on to represent the U's at the 'Play It Square' Play-Off Final at Hinckley United on 4 May, featuring representatives from Blue Square Premier, North and South clubs
Even if you don't come in the top FIVE of the overall Play-off at Hinckley, you'll still get hospitality on the day and and £1 for each Keepie Uppie you manage there.
And if you do finish in the overall top five, you'll go on to represent CUFC at the Blue Square Premier Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium later in the month. You'll enjoy full VIP Hospitality as a guest of Blue Square and you'll walk out onto the Wembley turf to take on the other four contestants for the massive £100,000 prize.
In addition to that amazing sum of money, your club also gets £20,000! What better incentive to get involved?
But before you get to Hinckley and, hopefully, Wembley, you first have to negotiate the half-time round in our match against Torquay tomorrow. We now have just ONE place remaining so if you wish to take part please e-mail Wayne Purser wayne.purser@cambridge-united.co.uk now with your contact details.
This is your last chance to compete and numbers are limited. All contestants must be aged 18 or over and must ensure that you are able to attend the Play-Off at Hinckley on 4 May should you progress. Andrew Proudfoot, Jamie Cox and Alistair Moffat are the other contestants taking the challenge on Tuesday.
Our current leader is Oli Price (pictured), who stormed into the lead last month with a score of 67 in front of the Abbey Stadium crowd, which propelled him into fifth place nationally.
Full details of the competition can be found in the earlier article here.
Good luck!
