Paul Carden will miss the next two games through suspension.

The midfielder collected his tenth booking of the season in Saturday's 2-1 home defeat against Stafford Rangers, which was unfortunate timing. If he had reached ten bookings after the second Sunday in April he would have only received a written warning from the FA instead of a two match automatic suspension.

'Cards' must now sit out the matches away to Salisbury City and next Tuesday's final home game of the season against Torquay United, although he will be available again for the final league game of the season at Northwich Victoria and any potential play-off fixtures.

The 29-year-old Scouser's enforced absence means Quinn faces an anxious wait to see if captain Danny Brown will recover from his shoulder injury in time to replace the Accrington Stanley loanee in the midfield holding role.

Carden has been a major success since arriving on loan for a month in November and returning in the New Year on a long-term loan to the end of the season.
