Boylan's Back

Posted on: Thu 27 Sep 2007

Striker Lee Boylan will be in the squad for Saturday's game at Forest Green Rovers

The 29-year-old has been sidelined for the last month since injuring ankle ligaments in the draw at Weymouth on Friday 31st August, but he returned to training earlier this week.

"Lee will be on the bench on Saturday," confirmed Jimmy Quinn. "He's been out for 4-5 weeks and he can't wait to get back.

"And Gavin Hoyte is back too and was on the bench on Tuesday, so in a way it's great for me to have this headache and it's nice to be able to switch one or two players."

Loan signing Marvin Robinson made his debut as a late substitute in Tuesday's home draw with Aldershot and was sent off following two yellow cards, so he will be suspended for Saturday's game, but Quinn believes United supporters will warm to the on loan Oxford striker.

"There's more to come from Marvin," he commented. "He's a good player but he wanted to impress too much. He'll miss Saturday but he's with us for three months and I think the fans will like him. He works hard, he's got a good leap on him and he's got pace, and at this level he's a very good player."
