Andy Duncan is among six players released by Cambridge United.
Forwards Wayne Purser, Michael Gash and John Brady, midfielder David Bridges, defender Andy Duncan and goalkeeper Paul Crichton will not be retained for next season.
Defender Aidan Collins has retired from the game due to injury.
Duncan signed for £20,000 from Manchester United in April 1998 following a successful three-month loan spell at The Abbey, and has made over 300 Football League and Conference appearances since. The 29-year-old was team and club captain for much of that time and has been United's longest-serving player in recent seasons.
Bridges came through the youth system at the Abbey and had two years as a pro for United before spending the 2004/05 season in Latvia, then was brought back by Rob Newman at the beginning of the 2005/06 season.
Brady joined on a free transfer from Hereford in January 2006 but finished this season on loan at Kidderminster, Crichton and Gash joined last summer - Gash returning to former club Cambridge City on loan in January - and Purser joined on a free transfer from Weymouth in January but has failed to earn a longer deal.
