Mini Kickers Club
As part of Youth Development's February half-term holiday courses all attendees were entered into a prize draw for a signed shirt.
The winner was Sam Waters, age 6, from Ramsey Forty Foot who attended the Ramsey Holiday Course, and he is pictured here being presented with the signed shirt by former youth team player Robbie Willmott and Jimmy Unwin, who runs the holiday courses.
Jimmy would like to remind everyone about the new Mini Kickers Club for children aged 4-6 years. It is a fun introduction to football for young children in which they will be coached fun story-based games and guided through the basics of football.
The club takes place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at various venues. See the booking form below for full details of times and venues but please note that it is possible to join the club mid-term and pay on the day. Sessions cost just £4.50 per child - please contact Jimmy by one of the methods below to let him know that your child/ren will be attending.
Some of the Mini Kickers Clubs will now run on the same night and at the same venue as our Development Centres. This is so that we can try to give the most promising players the opportunity to push forward with their development as quickly as possible with Cambridge United Youth Development.
During sessions the children will take part in a number of fun and exciting games to help them improve their technical ability, knowledge and understanding of the game. Children of all abilities are more than welcome to attend and the more advanced players will have the opportunity of progressing through into the Development Centres.
