This February half-term, Cambridge United Youth Development will be holding ten holiday courses across the region.

These will be a one-day course packed full of fun and learning, led by our experienced and qualified Youth Development team of coaches. . The 'Player of the Day' wins a trial at one of our Development Centres.

The courses are:

Monday 11th February 2008
Course A - Ely City FC
Course B - Ramsey County Junior School

Tuesday 12th February 2008
Course C - Norwich Rd School, Thetford
Course D - Newmarket Town FC

Wednesday 13th February 2008
Course E - Shelford Rec
Course F - Bury Rugby Club, Bury St Edmunds

Thursday 14th February 2008
Course G - Godmanchester Primary School
Course H - West Wratting Rec

Friday 15th February 2008
Course I - Caldecote Primary School
Course J - Watlington Sports and Social Club

Cost: £15/child (£12 for 4-5yr olds) - 20% discount for more than one member of one family attending
Times: 9am - 3pm (10am - 2pm, if 4-5yr old)
Ages: 4-14 yr old
What to bring: Light packed lunch, plenty to drink & appropriate clothing (lightweight waterproof)
Must bring: Shin guards. These are to be worn at all times during play


Our Youth Development Scheme is improving all time and our first team is currently reaping the rewards. A number of players in the first team squad have progressed through our youth set up, including Michael Morrison, Stephen Smith, Darren Quinton, Daniel Chillingworth, Dan Gleeson, Josh Coulson, Jordan Collins, Michael Hyem and lately the exciting Robbie Willmott.
