A Wayne Hatswell own goal in the first 90 seconds set Kettering on the way to a hard fought victory over United in gusty conditions at the Abbey Stadium. 

In Mark Cooper's last game before he left Kettering to take over at manager-less Peterborough, on loan Anthony Elding doubled the score in stoppage time just seconds after Poppies keeper and new manager Lee Harper denied Danny Crow a late equaliser.
