Cambridge United overcame four enforced changes, the departure of Scott Rendell, and some controversial refereeing decisions to take three points from play-off chasing Forest Green.

The U's ran out 2-0 winners thanks to Wayne Hatswell's 40-yard thunderbolt of a free kick just four minutes into the game, and a defensive mix-up that saw Mark Preece put the ball past his own keeper in the second half.
