An impressive all-round team performance saw United do the double over high-flying Stevenage as Courtney Pitt gave United the lead and although the visitors equalised with 12 minutes left Scott Rendell came off the bench to restore the lead with a minute remaining, heading Ben Farrell's effort over the line in the 89th minute.

Farrell, making his first start since joining from Bedford Town last month, was Setanta's Man of the Match while busy striker Lee McEvilly was the sponsors' choice.
