From the Physio
There is a selection of promising news about the injured players, as physio Greg Reid reports.
Striker Robbie Simpson continues to make excellent progress; his knee is stable and he has been running, twisting, turning and doing some light ball work as he continues his rehabilitation at Loughborough University while checking in regularly with Greg at the Abbey Stadium.
Defender Tommy Jaszczun's hamstring injury has improved to the stage where he has begun some light jogging.
Fellow defender Mark Peters is progressing nicely in his recovery from a torn plantar facia in his foot.
"However," adds Greg, "realistically he is still some way off being able to start running and functional rehab."
Adam Davies had his first post-operative follow up appointment on Thursday following his recent Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction, which revealed that his knee is beginning to settle nicely.
