From The Physio
Physio Greg Reid has news about four defenders.
Tommy Jaszczun was laid low with a virus over the weekend which prevented him from playing in the match at Kidderminster on Easter Monday.
Following the knee injury he suffered in the match against Exeter, Dan Gleeson completed his functional rehabilitation with Greg on Tuesday and returned to full training today.
Adam Davies, who was knocked out in that same match against Exeter, was assessed by Mr Peter Kirkpatrick, consultant neurosurgeon this afternoon.
Mr Kirkpatrick confirmed that Adam is suffering 'post concussion syndrome', which describes the group of symptoms that are commonly experienced following this type of head injury.
The good news for Adam is that his symptoms will continue to improve over the coming days and it is expected he will be able to begin some very light gymwork next week. He will have another brain scan and a second appointment with Mr Kirkpatrick next week.
Club captain Andy Duncan will have a surgery at the beginning of May on the problem with a spur of bone in his heel, which has forced him to sit out the last few games.
