Physio Greg Reid has news about four injured defenders.

Adam Davies, injured during last Tuesday's match against Exeter, was assessed by the club doctor on Tuesday afternoon and Greg reported, "He is making good progress and much of his facial swelling has resolved.

"The next step is for Adam to undergo an assessment by a consultant neurosurgeon, which should take place within the next week."

Adam and his parents will be guests of the club at Good Friday's match against York City and will dine before watching the game.

Greg Reid at workMark Peters has made a good recovery from his hip injury and will return to training on Thursday, and Dan Gleeson's knee is improving and he began some light jogging on Tuesday.

However, he is still doubtful for the two games over the Easter period.

Finally, Greg confirmed that club captain Andy Duncan's ongoing heel problem caused his substitution at half-time on Saturday at Aldershot.

"Up until the last couple of weeks we have been able to effectively manage the problem and Duncs has done fantastically well to continue until the last few games of the season," explained Greg.

"He will need surgery, however, which is scheduled for the start of May."
