Ritchie Hanlon

Physio Greg Reid reports that midfielder Ritchie Hanlon is making good progress following an operation on his knee last month.

"During Ritchie's stay at Lilleshall last week he underwent some Isokinetic testing on the muscles which act on the knee, " Greg explained. "I'm pleased to report that the tests indicated he has sufficient strength to safely progress to the functional stage of his rehab.

Midfielder Darren Quinton also spent last week at Lilleshall to continue his rehabilitation following an ankle ligament injury.

"He has made an excellent recovery," added Greg. "He successfully carried out some contact drills on Tuesday and joined in some light squad training on Thursday."

Young defender Nick Robbins sustained a nasty ankle ligament injury a couple of weeks ago whilst on loan at Norwich United. However, his recovery is on schedule and he should be back in 2-3 weeks time.
