Quinton/Potter News
Darren Quinton is now recovering at home following surgery on his right knee yesterday. The midfielder ruptured his Anterior Cruciate Ligament during the match at home to Salisbury twelve days ago.
Physio Greg Reid told cambridgeunited.com, "As expected, there was considerable damage to other structures within his knee and as a result of this we will not be using an accelerated rehabilitation protocol."
But there was better news of goalkeeper Danny Potter, who dislocated a little finger last week and visited a Harley Street hand specialist about the injury.
Greg and Danny returned to London yesterday evening for a follow up appointment with the specialist and Greg was pleased to report, "The ruptured ligament is starting to knit together and the specialist is optimistic that there shouldn't be any long term complications."
